Saker was England's bowling coach from 2010 to 2015. Before taking a flight to Australia for the marquee tournament, he will first head to Pakistan with the team for the seven-match T20I assignment. Apart from Saker and Hussey, England already have an Australian coach in their set-up – head coach Mott – who was previously with the Australia Women's team and guided them to the T20 World Cup glory in 2020.
England will start their T20 World Cup campaign against Afghanistan on 22 October in Perth.
